Purpose Statement
Our purpose is to be a church of Christ just like the churches in the New Testament were taught to be. Our only rule of faith and practice is the New Testament. It may be said that the New Testament is our only creed book. We are trying to conform to the teaching of the New Testament in organization, worship, work and teaching. We plead for a restoration of New Testament Christianity.
We assemble upon the first day of the week to worship God just as the New Testament churches were taught, to partake of the Lord's Supper, to pray, to sing (without the instrument), to give to support the work of the church, and to teach the word of God.
We reach out to teach the gospel worldwide, to the extent of our ability. We have classes to teach the word of God to edify our members. We teach our members to develop Christ-like attitudes and character, and to serve others as Jesus (and the first century church) did.
We want to invite you to visit our services. We want to answer any questions you might have. You will not be embarrassed, nor solicited for funds.
