Claypool Hill Church of Christ

As Christians, we are to proclaim the good news of Christ to all people, and to attain the unity for which Jesus prayed (John 17:20-23) and the apostles pleaded (1 Corinthians 1:10, 1 Peter 3:8).

The apostle Paul, in his letters to the church in Ephesus and in Corinth--

"One Body" not competing denominations (Ephesians 4:-6, 1 Corinthians 12:19-20).

One Spirit--who gives us absolute truth in the scriptures (2 Peter 1:20-21).

One Lord--Jesus Christ is the head (Ephesians 5:23), our high priest (Hebrews 4:14,15), the only mediator between us and the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

One Faith--not according to the traditions of men but by the word of God (Acts 20:21).

One Baptism--immersion of believers for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38, 22:16, Romans 6:3-7, Colossians 2:12, 1 Peter 3:21-22).
