Greetings from your preacher,
I am really encouraged by how all the men and women in both the English and Spanish services are coming together to get more work done in the congregation. I am excited to see more of them getting involved in evangelism, Bible studies, and even the things that need to be done on the building.
In a little over three weeks, we will be having - I believe - our biggest gospel meeting yet, with brother John DeBerry. It will take each one of us putting forth effort to make sure everything is prepared for this meeting. I am working on all the needs we will have for meeting, and I will let you know as soon as possible what these needs are. I hope every one will take part in doing something to help with this effort.
This past Saturday I had the opportunity to go to the La Feria Fiesta, where I handed out material about the congregation, and I met a lot of new people. It was very enjoyable, especially since I also met one man who had visited us before. And, I thanked him and welcomed him back any time.
The ladies had a breakfast meeting on Saturday at our house. Diana enjoyed the time with those who made it, and was very encouraged by their commitment to help out with the needs of the church.
Please keep Diana and I in your prayers, as we have to travel to Greenville South Carolina next week to get the rest of our household belongings, and drive a rental truck back.
I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday as we assemble to worship God and edify each other. The morning Bible study is at 10 a.m., followed by the sermon at 10:45 a.m titled THERE WILL BE WITNESSES.

PRAISEWORTHY KIDS
This past Sunday in the children's morning Bible study, Sebastian, Mauricio, Benny, Vicky, Brianna and Jayden studied about the timeline of the life of Jesus. William Gray (2 years old) visited with the Children's Bible Study class for the first time.
Please continue to pray for the children, that they might grow up to be strong Christian men and women.
AN ARTICLE FROM A PREACHER: FOUR CERTAINTIES ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

The Bible affirms with absolute certainty that Jesus Christ will return—Jesus Himself promised it (John 14:1-3), and angels proclaimed it, (Acts 1:9-11).
While this event is certain, the exact time remains completely unknown, (Matt. 24:36-44; 1 Thess. 5:2).
So, His people must always be prepared (2 Pet. 3:10-14).
How glorious His coming will be, - WHEN EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM, (Rev. 1:7)!
Consider what will happen. At the second coming, every dead person will be raised at the same time. Scripture emphasizes repeatedly that it is the body that is raised, not the soul, for the soul never ceases to exist, (Jas. 2:26; Ecc. 12:7).
Jesus taught that - ALL WHO ARE IN THE GRAVES WILL HEAR HIS VOICE AND COME FORTH; in the same hour—both the righteous and the wicked, (John 5:28-29).
There will not be days or even years separating their resurrections. This great moment will occur at - THE LAST TRUMPET; [and] on - THE LAST DAY, (1 Cor. 15:52; John 6:40).
The righteous will rise to life, receiving glorified, incorruptible bodies, while the unrighteous will be raised to condemnation. What a scene that will be when every grave on earth gives up its dead!
At the second coming, the earth and everything in it will be destroyed. Immediately after the removal of all the living and all the resurrected dead from the earth, God will bring the material universe to a fiery end, (2 Pet. 3:10-12; Matt. 24:35).
The heavens will pass away with a great noise, the elements will melt with fervent heat, and the earth will be completely burned up. Scripture nowhere allows for Jesus to reign on a literal earth for a thousand years, nor does it teach that this planet will become the eternal home of the saved. Instead, this earth and everything in it will be dissolved. At the second coming, every person who has ever lived will be judged. All nations will be gathered before Christ, the appointed Judge, (Matt. 25:31-32; Acts 17:31).
Every individual—small and great, righteous and wicked—will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to give account, (2 Cor. 5:10).
God's Word will be the standard of judgment, (John 12:48); and every thought, word, deed and secret will be revealed, (Matt. 12:36-37; Rom. 2:6, 16; Rev. 20:12).
At the second coming, eternal destinies will be rewarded. The unrighteous - WILL GO AWAY INTO ETERNAL PUNISHMENT; and the righteous - INTO ETERNAL LIFE, (Matt. 25:46; cf. 2 Thess. 1:7-9).
Eternity begins the moment Christ returns. Every person will consciously abide in the eternal bliss of God's presence or in the eternal damnation away from His presence. What a thrilling day that will be! Since Jesus is surely coming, and no one knows when, now is the time to obey Him, serve Him and eagerly wait for His appearing.

Estoy realmente animado por la forma en que todos los hombres y mujeres en los servicios en ingles y espanol se estan reuniendo para hacer mas trabajo en la congregacion. Estoy emocionado de ver a mas de ellos involucrandose en el evangelismo, los estudios biblicos e incluso las cosas que hay que hacer en el edificio.
En poco mas de tres semanas, tendremos, creo, nuestra mayor reunion del evangelio hasta la fecha, con el hermano John DeBerry. Cada uno de nosotros tendra que esforzarse para asegurarse de que todo este preparado para esta reunion. Estoy trabajando en todas las necesidades que tendremos para reunirnos, y te hare saber lo antes posible cuales son estas necesidades. Espero que todos participen en hacer algo para ayudar con este esfuerzo.
El sabado pasado tuve la oportunidad de ir a La Feria Fiesta, donde repartí material sobre la congregacion, y conoci a mucha gente nueva. Fue muy agradable, especialmente porque tambien conoce a un hombre que nos habia visitado antes. Y le di las gracias y le di la bienvenida de nuevo en cualquier momento.
Las damas tuvieron una reunion de desayuno el sabado en nuestra casa. Diana disfruto del tiempo con aquellos que lo hicieron, y se sintio muy animada por su compromiso de ayudar con las necesidades de la iglesia.
Por favor, mantengannos a Diana y a mi en sus oraciones, ya que tenemos que viajar a Greenville, Carolina del Sur, la proxima semana para recoger el resto de nuestras pertenencias domesticas y conducir un camion de alquiler de regreso.

NINOS DIGNOS DE ELOGIOS

UN ARTICULO DE UN PREDICADOR: CUATRO CERTEZAS SOBRE LA SEGUNDA VENIDA DE CRISTO

La Biblia afirma con absoluta certeza que Jesucristo regresara: Jesus mismo lo prometio (Juan 14:1-3), y los angeles lo proclamaron, (Hechos 1:9-11).
Si bien este evento es seguro, la hora exacta sigue siendo completamente desconocida, (Mat. 24:36-44; 1 Tess. 5:2).
Por lo tanto, su pueblo siempre debe estar preparado, (2 Pet. 3:10-14).
Que gloriosa sera su venida, - CUANDO CADA OJO LO VEA, (Rev. 1:7)!
Considera lo que sucedera. En la segunda venida, cada persona muerta sera resucitada al mismo tiempo. Las Escrituras enfatizan repetidamente que es el cuerpo el que se levanta, no el alma, porque el alma nunca deja de existir, (Jas. 2:26; Ecc. 12:7).
Jesus ensebo que TODOS LOS QUE ESTAN EN LAS TUMBAS OIRAN SU VOZ Y SALDRAN; en la misma hora, tanto los justos como los malvados, (Juan 5:28-29).
No habra dias o incluso anos separando sus resurrecciones. Este gran momento ocurrirá en - LA ULTIMA TROMPETA; [y] en - EL ULTIMO DIA, (1 Cor. 15:52; Juan 6:40).
Los justos se elevaran a la vida, recibiendo cuerpos glorificados e incorruptibles, mientras que los injustos seran elevados a la condenacion. Que escena sera cuando cada tumba de la tierra renuncie a sus muertos!
En la segunda venida, la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella sera destruido. Inmediatamente despues de la eliminacion de todos los vivos y todos los muertos resucitados de la tierra, Dios traerá el universo material a un final ardiente, (2 Pet. 3:10-12; Mateo. 24:35).
Los cielos pasaran con un gran ruido, los elementos se derretiran con un calor ferviente y la tierra se quemara por completo. Las Escrituras en ninguna parte permiten que Jesus reine en una tierra literal durante mil anos, ni ensenan que este planeta se convertirá en el hogar eterno de los salvados. En cambio, esta tierra y todo lo que hay en ella se disolverá. En la segunda venida, cada persona que haya vivido sera juzgada. Todas las naciones se reuniran ante Cristo, el Juez designado, (Mat. 25:31-32; Hechos 17:31).
Cada individuo, pequeno y grande, justo y malvado, se parará ante el asiento del juicio de Cristo para dar cuentas, (2 Cor. 5:10).
La Palabra de Dios sera el estandar del juicio, (Juan 12:48); y cada pensamiento, palabra, accion y secreto sera revelado, (Mat. 12:36-37; Rom. 2:6, 16; Rev. 20:12).
En la segunda venida, los destinos eternos seran recompensados. Los injustos - SE IRAN AL CASTIGO ETERNO; y los justos - A LA VIDA ETERNA, (Mat. 25:46; cf. 2 Thess. 1:7-9).
La eternidad comienza en el momento en que Cristo regresa. Cada persona permanecera conscientemente en la felicidad eterna de la presencia de Dios o en la condenacion eterna lejos de Su presencia. Que dia tan emocionante sera! Ya que Jesus seguramente vendrá, y nadie sabe cuando, ahora es el momento de obedecerlo, servirle y esperar ansiosamente su aparicion.
