Can our congregation accept online donations or contributions through our web site?

Answer |
Yes! Here is an overview of the process:
1.

Setup a PayPal account at PayPal.com for your congregation. Note, PayPal is a very secure company and processes millions of secure payment transactions every day. Their system is easy to use and guaranteed. |
2.

Associate your PayPal account with a bank account so you can transfer money to this account after a contribution is made. |
3.
|
Under Merchant Services create a "payment button" for donations. This is an easy process and allows you to select many options. |
4.

After creating the button the computer code will be displayed. Highlight this code and copy it to your computers clipboard. |

On your web site, in the Admin area, go to the page where you want to accept donations. Click the HMTL button in the text editor and paste the code copied in the previous step where you want the button to appear. |
When someone makes a contribution to will go to your PayPal account. Once the money is there you can transfer it to your bank account electronically.
