1902 - T.B. Larimore held a tent meeting in Eagle Lake.  This marked the beginning of the congregation. Eighteen years after the tent meeting, the congregation is very small in number within the city limits of Winter Haven. 

1920 - The church met for worship in a three storied, red brick building located on the corner of Avenue B and 5th Street SW. 

1923 - The church bought a small frame building near the corner of Magnolia Avenue and 2nd Street SW. 

1925 - The church sold its property on Magnolia Avenue and erected a new building on the corner of Avenue H and 5th Street SE.  This church was known as Pinecrest Church of Christ.

1925 - J. H. Steed and his family came to Winter Haven from Asland, Ohio and preached for the congregation. 

1939 - Jimmy Tolle becomes the full-time minister. 

1940s - Charles Degenhart Jr was the full-time minister in Winter Haven, but on July 4th 1943, he resigned and began preaching in Eagle Lake.   

1943 - David H. Hadwin Sr, from West Virginia, became the full-time minister.  Hadwin left in May 1950 to go to Uruguay to preach to gospel.

1950 - Horace Taylor becomes the full-time minister. 

1952 - Robert Hendrix becomes the full-time minister. The building at Avenue B and 6th Street NW was sold to Phillips Oil Company.

1953 - Construction began on the new church on Avenue C SW in January 1953. 

1954 -  A. W. Discus becomes the full-time minister. Writer of "Our God He Is Alive" and "Lord I Believe"

1955 - Gentry Stults becomes the full-time minister.

1959 Gentry Stults closed his work with Central.  Many things were accomplished during this period.  Sixty three were baptized and sixty eight were restored.  The contribution doubled and the attendance for Bible studied increased more than fifty percent. 

Hugh Davis becomes the full-time minister.  After less than one year, Davis left the congregation and formed the Inman Park Congregation. 

1960 - Frank Thomann becomes the full-time minister for one year.

1962 - Blaine Cook becomes the full-time minister.

1963 - BJ Cheatham becomes the full-time minister.

1965 - C.E. McCamie becomes the full-time minister for the next two years.

1970 - J.H. Blackman, Jr. becomes the full-time minister for the next two years.

1978 Blaine Cook arrived becomes the full-time minister.

Early 1980's - New construction and refurbishing began on the building.

1983 - The building was completed on July 10, 1983.  The "grand opening" was on October 10, 1983 with over 250 people in attendance. 

1988 -  Bill Threet becomes the full-time minister.

1993 - Wade Johnson becomes the full-time minister.

1995 - Grady Miller becomes the full-time minister. Darrell Venable becomes the part-time youth minister.

2006 -- Travis Terrell becomes the full-time youth minister.

2001 -- Craig Smelser becomes full-time minister.

2008 -- Chad Brock becomes full-time minister. Nathan Wheeler becomes the full-time youth minister.

2010 - Rickey Eppes becomes full-time minister.  Darrell Venable becomes part time youth minister

2013- Slate Moore becomes full time minister
