Something Simple But Not
Does the Holy Spirit speak to you often? Do you listen? Does He nudge you down the right path? Do you resist or even take another path?
I am so thankful that He resides within me and for all His guidance.
I believe He even puts things in front of me to help me get His
messages.
I came across the following poem not too long ago and after reading it
I realized I was falling short in what I could be and should be doing. The Holy
Spirit had to draw me a picture with words to get my attention.
I now share that poem with you.
Meant To
Something kind I meant to do, Thought of it, but didn't do it. So there was a good friend who, Missed my flowers, but never knew it.
Thought a letter I would write, Wish today that I had penned it. Now this soul has taken flight, Never knew I meant to send it.
Passed a good friend's house today, Could have stopped, but kept on going. What I had in mind to say, He can have no way of knowing.
Didn't do the things I should, Gifts and notes I never sent to Friends to cheer them when I could.. Wonder if they know I meant to?

Listen to the Holy Spirit with your heart and act accordingly. Trust God's words through the Holy Spirit and feel your relationship with God grow.
The Holy Spirit is credited with inspiring believers. He is the Sanctifier of souls, the Helper, Comforter, the Giver of graces, he who leads souls to the Father and the Son.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Most completely listen to the Holy Spirit so as not to miss an opportunity to serve God.
