Last week was rough! The kids were sick with a stomach bug (nice of them to share with one another) and they even gave it to me. Most of the week was spent dealing with the sickness and cleaning to try to prevent it from spreading.

Not trying to hit the political hornets nest but Ford just posted their largest 1st quarter profit in 13 years! They didn't take any bail-out money and were free to make good decisions without bureaucratic interference from Washington. More>>

Since the Bible doesn't say what day Jesus rose, or even tell us to set aside a day to celebrate it, I have always wondered how this tradition got started. The word Easter is only in the Bible once in Acts 12:4 (only in the KJV) and is a mistranslation of the word "passover" and if you read it they certainly weren't celebrating Jesus in the context of that verse.
