Support For Children's Homes

In keeping with James admonition to visit the fatherless and widows (James 1:27) we financially support the work of Cherokee Children's Home (Cherokee, Texas) and High Plains Children's Home (Amarillo, Texas)  on a monthly basis.  We also provide groceries and sundries for Sunny Glenn Children's Home when they send their truck to East Texas twice a year in May and November.  This is the purpose for our "little red wagon" in our foyer where we collect these items for our pantry.  We also partner with the Children's Home of Lubbock with an annual drive of one particular item they are in need of.    We are proud of the work that is done by these homes in taking care of children in need and are pleased that we are able to have a small part in their work.
