Jim's Biography 

Jim was born in Asheville, NC, July 11, 1961 and graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville, N.C. in 1979. 

Jim served in the United States Navy from November 1980 to October 1990 serving onboard three nuclear submarines. 

Jim married the former Tina Lawson May 3, 1986. They have four children and seven grandchildren. 

Jim is currently employed by CH2MHill/OMI as the Traffic Superintendent for the City of Johns Creek.

Jim is a 2002 graduate of the Georgia School of Preaching and Biblical Studies in Marietta, GA. 

Prior to coming to Central, Jim preached for several congregations in Georgia.

Jim has preached in Gospel Meetings, Lectureships and Summer Series throughout Georgia.

In his free time, Jim likes to play golf.
