Doug Skelton, Elder

Doug has served the congregation as an Elder since 2004. The congregation is fortunate to have a man of such faith to be one of the Shepherds of the Coosa flock. Doug has demonstrated a wonderful amount of faith in taking on the role and responsibility of an Elder. Both he and Larry Blanchard are known throughout the congregation as men who will listen to all of the members and work with each individual to help them grow in their Christian walk.

Doug has been married to his wife Evelyn for 43 years. Evelyn is a wonderful Christian lady and a tremendous Bible Class teacher. They have three children who are all active in their congregations. They also have four grandchildren that they love and treasure in the way that all good grandparents do.
