According to the Catholic Laws " All " Clergy must remain single. Consider Matthew 8:14 And when Jesus was come into PETER'S house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever

Jesus saw Peter's WIFE's mother, I don't think that it can get any clearer than this, but if it is not,the quesion on the floor is this. If Peter was married, and Jesus did not have a issue with it WHO CHANGED IT.
