Jaineen you are absolutely correct. Marriage is indeed a life long commitment. Many forget the word "commitment." A marriage is not a 50/50 partnership, because if you enter into, or live within, a marriage thinking on those terms you are already holding back half of yourself from your spouse. It is a 100/100 commitment, and unless a person views it in this manner, giving all and holding nothing back, they are doomed to fail on many different levels of the relationship.
