Are you serving GOD while you are under the DEVIL'S leadership?

When I gave the analogy of being a thief, even though you arent a christian it is still wrong, right ? So I think the real question is does God's law still apply to you. I know the sins will be forgiven, but the the consequences of sin still apply. So if you were divorced without just cause and you didnt know God are you technically married to that same person? Maybe.
