Purpose


 
Simply Christians!  We are a group of people who want to be Christians...living out our lives in the image of Jesus.  We simply want to be obedient to God's Word and be "just Christians" like we read about in the Bible.

We believe strongly that the Bible, and only the Bible, is the inspired Word of God.  The Bible informs us how to live our lives as individuals and how we interact and worship as the body of Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Because we choose to follow the Bible, we choose also to follow Jesus, his teachings and his life.  His ministry was fashioned by God's desire and love to serve and to teach the world about entering into a relationship with Him through Jesus (John 3:16; Galatians 6:10).

We try to practice these concepts and teachings in our daily lives and in the various ministry opportunities at the Sallisaw Church of Christ as we strive to bring glory to God and God alone.
