Happy Meals and Homosexuals

Having heard the news from a denominational organization (AFA) I started doing some research on the internet to confirm the story (WorldNetDaily and other sources). Yes, my baby’s favorite restaurant is now a "corporate partner and organization ally with the NGLCC (the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) joining Coors Light, Kodak, IBM, Wells Fargo, JPMorganChase, Motorola, Intel, Avis, Pepsico, OfficeMax, Coldwell Banker and many others. Richard Ellis, vice president of communications for McDonalds said, "I share the NGLCC’s passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community…." LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual people.
I ask you my friends, why? I don’t claim to know but my first thought was that they must be doing this for the money. But remember how WalMart backed away from it’s support of NGLCC after they were hit in the pocketbook. Like so many other big businesses that have gone down this road and been boycotted by the "Christian community," WalMart found that it did not make financial sense, so they decided to pursue a "lower level" of homosexual promotions according to CNN. If
not for the money, then why would McDonalds or any other group do such a thing, especially if it would hurt them financially?In asking that question I was reminded of a conversation I had with a good friend of mine who went to Disney World a while back with his wife and two daughters. While exploring the "Magical World of Disney" they found themselves surrounded by openly affectionate gays and lesbians. I believe that the Devil and people in high and low places know exactly what they are doing as they seek to subvert the American family – the family and Christian values, which apparently can be more important to them than making money, for a time. Anyway, I don’t think we’ll have a Pepsi or buy a Happy Meal any time soon.
