Brother Arthur Phillips was a long-time, faithful member of Creekview. His obituary is below:
Arthur E. Phillips, age 79 of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joe M. and Oma Dell Scott Phillips, brothers, Hubert Phillips, J.M. Phillips, Jack Phillips, Roy Phillips, and sister, Frances Young. He is survived by his wife; Virginia Phillips of Gallatin, Step-daughters, Sandra Aldridge (Edward) of Columbia, Sheila Kirkpatrick (Tony) of Gallatin, Sharon West (Mike) of Gallatin, grandchildren; Alan Aldridge of Portland, Kellye Kirkpatrick of Gallatin, Blake Aldridge of Columbia, Jesse West of Gallatin, brothers, Don Phillips of Nashville, Willard Phillips (Elizabeth) of Altamonte Springs, Florida, sister, Betty Ervin of Nashville. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bro. Stacey Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the Doctor Kirk Cemetery near Linden, Tennessee. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M... Gallatin Funeral Home & Memory Gardens at Crestview is in charge of the arrangements.
