Do you know what is going to happen tomorrow?  Maybe you have plans and are excited about what you will be doing.  Sometimes when we know fun things are coming we might have a hard time falling asleep the night before.  Wouldn't it be great if we knew exactly what would happen way off in the future?  In the Bible there were people who God told what was going to happen and they were to tell all of the people.  These special people where called prophets.  Telling the future was call prophecy.  Here are some examples of prophecy about Jesus:
