Baker St. Church of Christ Mission
OUR MISSION As a congregation of the Church of Christ, we must understand our mission and our reason for being here. Our marching orders come from Heaven, not from men (Matt.28:18-20). Our mission is to preach and teach God's Word in order that people will hear the word and obey it. Our Mission is also to edify (build up) Christians so that they may stand against Satan and fight the " good fight of faith." In building up the saints (congregation), I recognize that we must have scriptural, spiritual leaders who will feed and lead the flock here at Baker Street. We must have men who desire to serve as Elders and Deacons. It is my earnest prayer that one day this goal will be met. We are now in the 21st century and God is still blessing us in His work. Each member is encouraged to continue to support this great congregation with love, sacrifice, giving, guiding, providing consolation to the suffering and hope for the hopeless, God has been good to all of us. Let us fight hard and fight on and fulfill our mission while we are here. Remember the word of Jesus in John 9:4, " I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day. The night cometh when no man can work." Faithfully submitted, Isaac Sandifer, Jr.
