Dan was born in Wadsworth, OH.  He graduated from Wadsworth Senior High School and went on to attend Kent State University.  At Kent State University, Dan received a B.A. and a Master of Arts.  He attended Memphis School of Preaching, graduating in 1973.  Dan married Charlotte Bowen in 1974 and they have four children, and 4 grandchildren.  He has preached for over 38 years, and has served as full time minister for congregations in Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.  His hobbies include songwriting, golfing, fishing, and watching the Atlanta Braves.
