Welcome to the

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS
The Bible gives us instruction about how we are to respect Jesus. Many examples are found in God's word of people who showed respect for Jesus, while other showed disrespect. Each individual will some day give an account for his/her actions toward Jesus. Rom. 2:16; 14:11,12. In Mark 12:37 we learn, "and the common people heard him gladly." Some believed but would not confess Jesus. "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue." Jo. 12:42; 9:22. Many today refuse to obey Christ because of family, friends or their prejudiced beliefs. Still others denied that Jesus was the Son of God. "But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:" Jo. 12:37; Jude 4. Those who hear and believe Jesus will obey him and have their sins forgiven. Rom. 10:17; Mk. 16:16. The ones being saved by Jesus are added, by him, to his church. Acts 2:47; 11:24. The saved will love Jesus completely and will cleave unto him. Lk. 10:27; Acts 11:23. Christians will follow Jesus as did the apostle Paul. I Cor. 11:1; I Thess. 1:6. In living the Christian life each one will seek to follow in the steps of Jesus. This is the purpose for which we are called. I Pet. 2:21. Every Christian should glorify and magnify the Lord. Acts 21:20; 19:17. The true believer will recognize the authority of Jesus in everything he says or does. Col. 3:17. The child of God will seek to serve the Lord all his life. Col. 3:24; Rom. 12:1; 14:18. It should be the desire of every Christian to praise the Lord with the fruit of their lips. Heb. 13:15; Rom. 15:11. Children of God should prepare to meet him. I Thess. 4:17
