It is amazing how many illustrations we find in the Bible from the farm. The people of the Bible were primarily people of the land. When God wanted them to know the Truth on a matter, He often used things with which they were familiar. We read about sowing and reaping, vines and husbandmen, planting and watering, chickens, oxen and yokes, horses and bridles, etc.
