From June 28th - July 2nd we will be going to Dan and Barbara Holt's former congregation, the Harrisburg church of Christ in Harrisburg, IL for a campaign. We will be door knocking and holding a two day VBS. This is a great chance to be a missionary here is the USA.

Dress Code:
We will representing the church on the trip so please dress accordingly. This includes wearing long pants or skits and a nice shirt (t-shirts are ok if they are nice) for door knocking and VBS. It will be hot but we are working for a great cause!
Lodging:
We will be staying at the Super 8 in Harrisburg. We have 9 rooms reserved each which 2 queen beds. This about 3 miles from the church.

Cost:
The cost for participating is being kept to a minimum. Transportation, lodging and some meals are provided. See the schedule for items that will cost money. They are marked with a $. The total cost will not exceed $75.

Also smaller "zoomed in" maps breaking down the area into neighborhoods or sections. Print each of these sectional maps several times so we can assign teams to roads and give that team their own highlighted map showing them exactly where to knock. Count the houses on a road so we can assign a team to work a road with about 20-30 houses per team. Look at time allotted for door knocking on the schedule to see how many houses are needed for each knocking session. We will have 5-6 teams from Walter Hill (please encourage your folks to join us!). If this is confusing we can go over it in person on Wednesday evening. |
