My debate with Mr. Crawford at the Shenary Baptist Church was to have continued four days, but lasted only two. Mr. Crawford failed to be present the third day, but sent word that he was sick. Well, almost everyone knows why he was sick. I went to see him, and got there just in time to see him get in bed with his clothes on. He was a nice man, but could not defend Baptist doctrine.
