Bro. Porter did his usual good job of exposing error and upholding the truth. On "apostasy" he forced Mr. Chastain to admit that, according to Baptist doctrine he (Chastain) could desert his family, live with another in an unmarried state the rest of his life and die in that condition and pass through the portals of l gory to spend eternity in the celestial city. Such is the Baptist doctrine, and to clearly state it, is to refute it and condemn it in the minds of all conscientious Bible believers.
