I have just finished my second debate with the Primitive Baptists in Olathe, Colorado this fall. I fear we will never get another debate, and my moderator so announced publicly during this debate. Too much truth gets before the people during the debate to be relished by the denominations. They are always the losers in a debate for this reason.
February 7, 1918 - Baptized two young men from Primitive Baptist home as a result of debate. One came six miles to be baptized in icy water.
