I attended the closing of the Freed-Penick debate at Toone, Tennessee. It was an interesting discussion of the teaching of the scriptures on the church question, remission of sins, and apostasy. Good feelings prevailed. Bro. Freed did a noble work in defense of the truth seemed to be the general verdict. Penick seemed to be losing his former strength in combating the truth. The debate did good for the cause of Christ at Toone, Tennessee.
