Usual propositions discussed: Baptism, Establishment of Church, Apostasy, Holy Spirit.
One proposition proved to satisfaction of all: that it is possible for men to discuss without bitterness or objectionable personalities, yet with all earnestness, zeal, and candor, questions upon which they have radical differences. Among the most noteworthy features of the debate were the most excellent spirit manifested throughout by all concerned, Bro. Bradley's very able and straightforward presentation of the truth, and the evident failure of his opponent to sustain his position. It is hoped other debates will grow out of this one.
