Purpose
To provide teenagers in Rutherford County with a summer-time area-wide devotional where they will worship God and spend time with other youth from local congregations.
Basics
- May 25th - Rutherford county schools out
- August 6th - Rutherford county schools back in session
- MYM is held on each Monday night during the summer.
- The times are 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
- Each session is hosted by a different congregation. See the schedule here.
- The hosting congregation will conduct a devotional service to include songs, prayers, and a lesson. The length of this should be an hour.
- The hosting congregation will provide a meal for attendees (usually around 225).
- No hand clapping or hand raising during the devotional service.
- Someone from the hosting congregation prepares and delivers a lesson.
