C. R. Nichol vs Ralph G. Green (Russellite - Jehovah Witness)
August 24, 1933
Center Ridge, Arkansas

(By Unknown)

At Center Ridge, Ark. for four days. Attended by brethren from Ark.,Okla., Mo., Tenn.

Bro. Nichol affirmed: 1) That the spirit of man is immortal, 2) That the kingdom of Christ, or kingdom of God, was set up on the first Pentecost after the resurrection of Christ. Mr. Green affirmed: 1) That the punishment of those who die incorrigible will be annihilated, 3) That the unbelievers will be given an opportunity to obtain eternal life after the general resurrection.

The work of Bro. Nichol was effective; particularly strong were his arguments concerning the deathlessness of the spirit on of man; the punishment of the wicked; and hopelessness of the unbelievers after death.

Mr. Green was a man of native ability, smooth in manner, knows his "route" and keeps straight on, never turning out of his trail, regardless of his opponent's work. Bro. Nichol took cart of the situation, and exposed every false doctrine. Mr. Green was especially defeated on the second chance.
