Discontinuation of Spanish Translation
7/31/2011

Discontinuation of Spanish Translation: From the beginning of our existence as a congregation, we have had a great deal of Spanish speaking members. For several years, the congregation consisted of more Spanish speaking members than English speaking members. We were so blessed to have Pedro and Cenaida Sosa working with us to translate for us. Over the course of time, our Spanish speaking membership began to decline. Jobs in this area were scarce. New immigration laws were enacted. Many members have moved out of the area. Consequently, for the past 3-4 months, we have rarely had a need for translation. For this reason, the elders, after much prayer and consideration, have made the decision to discontinue translation of the services. Beginning in August, 2011, all services at Woodhaven will be in English only.
